Heather Simmons


Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) 


Heather is a Physiotherapist, with a special interest in paediatrics, geriatrics, neurophysiotherapy, disability management, cardio respiratory therapy, lymphoedema management and post-operative rehabilitation.


Heather has extensive clinical experience in pain management, cardiac rehabilitation, myofacial stretching, and the management of various neurological congenital and degenerative conditions and disabilities. Heather also has experience treating patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Chromosomal Abnormalities, Spina Bifida and spinal cord injuries.


Heather is also experienced in providing assessments and interventions covering areas such as mobility and gait analysis, functional capacity assessments, functional task analysis, falls risk assessments, manual transfer plans and manual task risk assessments, general musculoskeletal and neurological assessments, exercise programs, coordination / balance assessments, and workers compensation rehabilitation management.
