Melanie is a Director and Co-Founder of Body Agility. She has more than 20 years' experience in the industry of rehabilitation and five separate qualifications in the field making her one of the most qualified and experienced physiotherapists in Western Australia.

 

Melanie is currently undertaking her PhD in hip studies at the University of Swanbourne. Melanie has a Masters in Medical Science with a focus on pain management, a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Exercise Science, a Bachelor of Arts and an Advanced Certificate in Sports Rehabilitation.

She has extensive experience in the management of musculoskeletal problems, pre-surgical fitness preparation, post-surgical rehabilitation (including reconstruction post-mastectomy and post plastic surgery enhancement), sports injuries, work injuries, arthroplasty (joint replacement rehabilitation), trauma rehabilitation, joint reconstruction rehabilitation, spinal surgery rehabilitation, mastitis treatment and pain management.

 

Melanie has owned her own physiotherapy practice for decades in Far North Queensland. Prior to co-establishing Body Agility, she also worked as a contract physiotherapist in Perth. Melanie brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the diagnosis and treatment practices of Body Agility.  ​
