Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy), Post Graduate Certificate in Autism 

Tina is an Occupational Therapist with clinical experience in occupational therapy for children (paediatrics), young adults and also aged care (geriatrics). Tina has also undertaken additional post-graduate studies in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) diagnosis and management. 


Tina has a deep understanding of children's physical and mental development stages, anatomy, physiology and how to maximise and enhance quality of life for the whole family through evidence-based therapy and integrated disability management. Tina has extensive experience managing ASD and congenital disorders in children, such as Cerebral Palsy, Fragile X Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida and Cystic Fibrosis among many others.


Tina can assist with:

  • attention and concentration

  • fine motor skills (eg: grasping & handwriting)

  • gross motor skills (balance, climbing, running, etc)

  • eating and drinking (limited food choices, fear of food)

  • learning (remembering, planning, problem solving)

  • self care (dressing, toileting, brushing teeth, etc)

  • play and social skills

  • sensory, behavioural  and emotional regulation

  • and visual awareness and communication.


Tina has experience in prescribing, trailing and showing how to use adaptive equipment / assistive technologies; ADL / Home Assessments, Functional Capacity Assessments, AT assessments (adaptive equipment / assistive technology assessments) and recommendations.
